Basketball

We are doing a summer basketball league with a few of our friends. For all your friends out there with kids, playing sports with your friends makes it much more enjoyable!

Jack was very apprehensive about playing basketball before the first game. We missed the only practice due to being in Austin for my tri and he was SCARED to say the least. The entire drive over there he talked about not wanting to be put in first, etc. We talked about soccer and how when he started playing that he didn't know how to play and tried to pump him up that he would do great.

Then we walked in and saw the size of the other team and decided we might be in trouble.


The games since we have played kids more our size and Jack is really liking it. He even asked our friends to come watch him because he was so good at basketball so his confidence is getting better.

They play on an 8' hoop so it is not the easiest to score a basket but a lot of the kids have!
